The Challenge
Outreach.io wanted to upgrade their employee onboarding experience with a cohesive, branded welcome kit. With so many options on the market, they needed a curated, streamlined set of items that reflected their company culture without being overdone.
Their internal team was spending time juggling vendors and trying to piece together consistent kits across locations. They needed a partner who could design, source, and fulfill everything in one place, and make sure the result felt thoughtful and practical.
Our Approach
We worked directly with their People and Culture team to define the look, tone, and function of the kit. It had to strike a balance between being useful, branded, and welcoming, without veering into generic swag territory.
We built the kit around real, everyday essentials: things new hires would want to use right away, whether working remotely or in the office. At every step, we made sure each item served a purpose and felt like a natural extension of Outreach’s brand.
The Solution
The final “Welcome to the Team” kit included:
- A custom-branded kit box with clean packaging and onboarding messaging
- A soft t-shirt and embroidered hat to build early brand connection
- A notebook and water bottle to support daily use and productivity
- Optional add-ons based on role, department, or location
We handled sourcing, packing, and shipping, ensuring that every new employee received the same quality experience, on time and on brand.
The Results
The onboarding kits quickly became a core part of Outreach.io’s hiring process. New hires felt seen and supported from the start, and internal teams no longer had to manage fragmented merch orders.
The kits helped reinforce company values, build early brand connection, and streamline operations, all while staying true to Outreach’s culture. It’s a simple example of how good design and thoughtful product execution can elevate the entire employee experience.
